I use OneNote for keeping all my personal records and web clippings.
It is easy to search and works just fine (except for the mobile option which I don’t really need).
For some reason my main workbook locked up. I could view everything but could not edit or add any new notes.
It just produced the message…
This section contains changes that cannot be synced because access to the section file is denied. correct the file permissions or save your copy of this section elsewhere.
It tried waiting a while, then restarting the system – nothing worked.
Well there may be some clever way to overcome the problem but I certainly could not find it and I didn’t have the time.
I went for the brutal but simple option of creating a new workbook. Then I right clicked in each of the sections in the locked workbook and selected “Save as”, choosing a file location in the new workbook.
Not clever – but it worked.
